Palestinians in Tulkarem recount agony during three days of Israeli military siege

Tulkarem (West Bank), Apr 22 (EFE) - Neighbours of the Palestinian refugee camp of Nur Shams, in the Palestinian city of Tulkarem, tell EFE about the 50 hours of agony they lived through during the Israeli raid that ended yesterday, with young people beaten, wrists inflamed by handcuffs and arbitrary arrests while troops shot alleged militiamen and civilians.

It was one of the deadliest and most violent days in the occupied West Bank in decades, with at least 14 killed in Nur Shams, according to the army, as well as two other Palestinians killed by Israeli fire near Hebron, and a medic around Nablus after altercations with settlers.
