Pakistan's Peshawar revises school schedules amid soaring temperatures

Peshawar, Jun 4 (EFE/EPA).- Schools in the Pakistani city of Peshawar have shortened school hours amid soaring temperatures.

This adjustment applies to both government and private schools, as stated in a departmental notification.

The new timings are as follows: primary schools will now operate from 7am to 11am (previously 7:30am to 1pm), and middle, high, and higher secondary schools will run from 7am to 12pm (previously 7:30am to 1:20pm). (Camera: BILAWAL ARBAB).
