Pakistani Muslims demonstrate against Quran burning in Sweden | Video

Lahore/Islamabad, Jan 24 (EFE/EPA) Muslims in two of Pakistan's major cities demonstrated on Monday against the burning of a copy of the Quran by a right-wing extremist outside the Turkish embassy in Sweden.

The burning of a copy of the Quran in Sweden has been condemned by Turkey, the United States and the Swedish government as "Islamophobic provocations".

On Saturday, Swedish-Danish right-winger Rasmus Paludan burned a copy of the Muslim holy book in front of the Turkish embassy under the protection of Swedish police, an act Turkish President Erdogan on Monday described as a disgrace. (Camera: RAHAT DAR/SOHAIL SHAHZAD).
