Paintings by Picasso and Miró auctioned in London for 5.8 million euros

London (UK), Feb 28 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Guillermo Garrido) Three works by Picasso and one by Miró will be auctioned on 6 March by Sotheby's in London for a total starting price of 20.5 million pounds (23.9 million euros), as part of a lot containing paintings by leading artists of the late 19th and 20th centuries.

The paintings 'Homme à la pipe' (1968) - the highest value of the lot, estimated at between 8 and 12 million pounds (9.3 and 14 million euros) - and 'Lluís Vilaró' (1904) - with a starting price of 5 million pounds (5.8 million euros) -, as well as the sculpture 'Tête de femme' (1951) - estimated at 2.5 million pounds (2.9 million euros) - are the works by Picasso from Malaga included in the auction.
