Organizations ask El Salvador prosecutor to drop charges against social leaders

San Salvador, Aug 11 (EFE).- Members of the Association for Social Economic Development of Santa Marta (ADES) delivered a letter on Friday asking the attorney general, Rodolfo Degaldo, to withdraw the criminal charges against five community leaders and environmentalists, accused of committing a murder in the context of the Salvadoran civil war (1980-1992).
