Opposition leaders Ousmane Sonko and Bassirou Diomaye Faye appear at a press conference

Dakar (Senegal), March 15 (EFE).- Senegal's main opposition leader, Ousmane Sonko, and presidential candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye were released this Thursday under a controversial general amnesty law that condones crimes committed since 2021 during anti-government protests.
