Opposition fails in attempt to activate referendum, says Nicolás Maduro

Caracas, Jan 27 (EFE).- The Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, assured Thursday that the opposition "failed again" when trying to activate a referendum that would revoke his presidential mandate.

"The far-right coup failed again (...) but it's their fault. I assume my faults when I commit them," Maduro said at the ceremonial act of the beginning of the judicial year. (Camera: IVÁN CÁRDENAS).
