Kathmandu, Apr 4 (EFE/EPA).- A former member of British Gurkhas, Hari Budha Magar, who lost both of his legs while serving in Afghanistan in 2010, will attempt to climb the world's tallest peak this spring season, to become the first double above-knee amputee to summit Mount Everest."I will leave Kathmandu for the Everest region this Wednesday. The preparations have been finalized," said Magar, 43, who is confident of reaching the summit despite moving three times slower than other people.
