Nepalese Hindu devotees gather for Sarwan Brata festival

Kathmandu, Jul 22 (EFE/EPA).- Married and single Nepalese Hindu women gathered in temples on Monday of the Sawan month, spanning from 22 July to 12 August, to pray for a long and prosperous life for their husbands or for a chance to find a good one.

The fasting is undertaken every Monday exclusively by women worshiping Lord Shiva. (Camera: NARENDRA SHRESTHA).
