"Nearshoring" distances workers in northern Mexico from access to housing

Ciudad Juarez, Aug 6 (EFE).- The phenomenon of "nearshoring" or value chain relocation brings historic investments to Ciudad Juárez, on the northern border of Mexico, where properties rented by foreigners have grown by 40 per cent, but it draws away access to housing for local workers, who are crucial for the factories and local economy.
