Native Mayans celebrate Stations of the Cross and call for an end to violence in southeastern Mexico

Chalchihuitán (Mexico), Mar 29 (EFE) - Despite the violent times currently being experienced by indigenous peoples in the state of Chiapas, southeastern Mexico, plagued by criminal groups, hundreds of Mayan Tzotzil men and women carried out this Good Friday a Stations of the Cross to pray for peace in the region, an end to violence and forced displacements.
