Taipei, Apr 29 (EFE/EPA).- On Saturday, former US National Security Adviser John Bolton attended the annual Taiwanese World Congress in Taipei.

During his stay, Bolton is scheduled to meet with President Tsai Ing-wen and to address two meetings of organisations supporting Taiwanese independence.

His presence at the World Taiwan Congress underscores continued support for Taiwan amid its complex relationship with China.
