The National Guard comes to the aid of firefighters to put out the fire in Briarwood, Massachusetts

Briarwood (United States), Aug 18 (EFE), (Camera: CJ Gunther).- Members of the Massachusetts National Guard fight this Thursday against the prolonged bush fire called "The Briarwood Fire", in Rockport, Massachusetts.

The fire, which began on July 13, 2022, has continued to burn due, in part, to current extreme drought conditions that cover at least 40% of the state of Massachusetts.
