Nani Roma retires on stage seven of Dakar rally after mechanical problems

Ad Duwadimi, Saudi Arabia, Jan 14 (EFE).- (Camera: Carlos Rosique) Spanish driver 'Nani' Roma (Ford) was forced to retire on stage seven of Dakar rally on Sunday due to a mechanical problem.

"It happened to me before and the feeling is...When I arrived to the vivac, the feeling is so unpleasant, but it's part of the gae of the sport...and one has to accept it and, after so many years competing in these kind of races, one learns to accept it and, that's it, it's sad for he team –moreover, my teammate's car turned over–, so it's a bad day for us but it's part of this, part of the game part of Dakar and races and I can assure there are many other important things in life."
