Muslims pray for end of Ramadan in New York City

New York (United States), Apr 10 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Adam Gray) Muslims in New York participate in the Eid al-Fitr prayer in the Brooklyn borough.

Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a two- or three-day holiday that takes place at the end of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan. During Eid al-Fitr, most people travel to visit each other in or out of town and children are given new clothes and spending money for the occasion.
