Munich lights up against right-wing extremism in demonstration for democracy

Munich, Feb 11 (EFE/EPA).- A major demonstration entitled "Sea of Light for Democracy" took place in Munich, Germany, on Sunday, aimed at protesting against right-wing extremism and promoting democracy and human rights.

Organised by Fridays for Future Munich, the event marked the beginning of a series of actions planned throughout the Bavarian state in the coming weeks and months.

The organisers stressed that these actions are a collective effort by civil society to stand united in defence of democratic values.
