Morocco formalizes together with Spain and Portugal the candidacy for the 2030 World Cup

Rabat (Morocco), Nov 28 (EFE).- The presidents of the federations of Spain, Morocco and Portugal have formalized this Saturday the candidacy for the 2030 World Cup, a proposal that, they have highlighted, is "of peace" in times of conflict, unity and respect.

1.- "The Grand Stadium of Casablanca is a project and an ambition that has been planned for several years, and now, thanks to the sponsorship of the king, it has made its first progress and construction works will begin at the end of this year and will be ready in two years. It is a stadium that meets the needs of Casablanca, which hosts two giant clubs, Widad and Raja, and whose matches are attended by 60,000 fans (...) and will be an additional infrastructure to host the World Cup if we agree with Spain and Portugal".
