Morant, proud of Spanish astronaut and proud that Spain gives opportunities to talent

Cologne (Germany), Apr 22 (EFE) - The Spanish Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant, said on Monday that she was "enormously proud" of Pablo Álvarez, who graduated today as an astronaut with the European Space Agency (ESA), and said that his success shows that Spain is capable of giving opportunities to the country's young talents.

"Space has become a very important area in which to be and Spain is going to be, and will be magnificently represented through Pablo Álvarez", the minister told the Spanish media in Cologne (Germany), where she attended the graduation ceremony of this aeronautical engineer from Leon.

Morant said she was "enormously proud" of the Spanish astronaut and his successes, but also of the fact that Spain has been "able to give talent a chance".
