Minute of silence in the Junta de Castilla y León for the sexiste crime in Salamanca

Valladolid, Aug 30 (EFE).- The Government of Castilla y León, except for Vice President Juan García Gallardo (Vox), has gathered at the headquarters of the Junta to condemn the sexist crime committed in Béjar (Salamanca).

The murder of Charo, 36 years old, which leaves four children orphaned, brings the number of victims of gender violence to 39 in 2023, 1,223 since counting began in 2003.
