Millions of Indonesians begin to leave for hometowns ahead of Eid al-Fitr celebrations

Jakarta, Apr 18 (EFE/EPA).- Millions of people started to leave for their hometowns Tuesday ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebrations in Indonesia.

Eid al-Fitr is an Islamic holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. (Camera: BAGUS INDAHONO).
