Millions of Indonesians arrive at hometowns ahead of Eid celebration

Medan, Apr 20 (EFE/EPA).- Millions of people continued Thursday to leave the capital and other major cities to their hometowns ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration in Indonesia.

Eid al-Fitr is an Islamic holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. (Camera: DEDI SINUHAJI).
