Migrants rescued in Kent after Channel crossing

Kent (UK), Aug 21 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Tolga Akmen) Rescue of migrants at Dungeness Beach in Kent, after they crossed the English Channel in a boat.

The United Kingdom has made efforts to reduce the number of asylum seekers making the dangerous journey across the English Channel in small boats, while on 15 August the European Union (EU) rejected the country's attempt to create a new migrant return agreement to deal with the crisis of boats crossing the English Channel - between England and France, reveals the newspaper "The Times" on Tuesday.
