Migrants cross northern Mexican border to seek asylum in US

Ciudad Juarez, 25 Jul (EFE).- Migrants desperate to cross the border were seen Tuesday defying barbed wire installed before the wall between Mexico's Ciudad Juarez and the city of El Paso, Texas, to seek asylum in the United States.

Three women and three men, along with two children, were the first to cross a short tributary of the Rio Grande, about 500 meters from the Paso del Norte International Bridge. (Camera: RAÚL MORALES).
