Microsoft announces investment of $2.2 billion in AI, cloud services in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, May 2 (EFE/EPA).- Microsoft chief Satya Nadella announced on Thursday an investment of $2.2 billion to develop artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud services in Malaysia.

“Microsoft’s development of essential cloud and AI infrastructure, together with AI skilling opportunities, will significantly enhance Malaysia’s digital capacity and further elevate our position in the global tech landscape,” Nadella said during an event in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
