Mexico's Treasury reveals that Lopez Obrador's new pension fund will last 10 years

Mexico City, May 7 (EFE).- The newly created Pension Fund for Welfare will have a useful life of up to 10 years and will only serve to compensate for the low retirements of a first wave of Mexicans retiring as of 2025, the head of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), Rogelio Ramirez de la Obrador, revealed Tuesday.
