Mexico's López Obrador praises Sheinbaum's election victory

Mexico City, Jun 3 (EFE).- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador celebrated the electoral victory of the official candidate, Claudia Sheinbaum, early Monday morning.

He expressed his happiness over Sheinbaum's win by a wide margin and praised the Mexican people's exemplary democratic participation.

López Obrador noted that the electoral authority's preliminary count showed Sheinbaum with a significant lead, making her the first female president of Mexico. (Camera: HANDOUT).
