Mexican writer Elisa de Gortari: "In an ideal world, I wouldn't remember I'm trans"

Mexico City, Nov 19 (EFE).- Mexican writer Elisa de Gortari criticized in an interview with EFE the exploitation of trans narratives in literature and cisgender media, which often "fetishize" and "demand" that trans authors expose their experiences, stating that "if they don’t talk about it, they aren’t read or published."
