Mexican migrants desert crossing points following Biden's announcement

Ciudad Juárez, Jun 5 (EFE).- Following the US announcement of limiting asylum for irregular migrants on Wednesday, hundreds waited to cross the border from Juarez (Chihuahua) to El Paso (Texas) retreated due to soaring temperatures nearing 40 degrees.

Hundreds of migrants were camping along the Rio Grande between Ciudad Juárez and El Paso which marked journeys of up to 10 kilometers searching for a less guarded place to enter the United States. (Camera: RAÚL MORALES).
