Mexican judge refuses to release former Pena Nieto minister from prison for corruption

Mexico City, Oct 20 (EFE).- A Mexican judge refused Wednesday to release Rosario Robles, former Secretary of Development in the Government of Enrique Peña Nieto (2012-2018), in a preventive prison for more than two years for the so-called "Master Fraud" corruption case.

Judge Ganther Alejandro Villar considered that "there is a high risk of fleeing" on the part of the former minister, according to the report from the Federal Judicial Council. (Camera: MIGUEL ANGEL ANDRADE).

SHOT LIST: MARIANA MOGUEL ROBLES, DAUGHTER OF THE FORMER HEAD OF THE SECRETARIAT OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT (SEDESOL) ROSARIO ROBLES, ARRIVES AT THE COURTS OF THE SOUTH PRISON IN MEXICO CITY, MEXICO.
