MEXICO MIGRATION CRISIS

Mexican activists demand attention from government regarding migration crisis

Tijuana, Apr 2 (EFE).- Activists in Tijuana criticized President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, on Tuesday for abandoning Mexican migrants deported from the United States, accusing the lack of support, resources, and opportunities for their reintegration into society.

Civil organizations Ángeles Sin Fronteras, SOS Migrantes, and Alianza Migrante presented a report on the situation faced by deported Mexicans, who, they pointed out, have been made invisible amid the migration crisis at the border, demanding immediate attention from the Mexican government for this population.
