Merida (Spain), Jun 25 (EFE) (Camera: Jero Morales) - Eight Extremadura municipalities are among the ten Spanish where the highest temperatures are recorded this Sunday, with Merida at the head, bordering the 38.8 degrees, followed by Herrera del Duque and Jerez de los Caballeros, both above 37 degrees, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) to 12:40 hours.

After these three locations are the airport of Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz), with 36.1 degrees.
