San Andrés Larráinzar, Apr 7 (EFE).- On Good Friday, hundreds of Tzotzil indigenous people took part in the traditional Via Crucis in the municipality of San Andrés Larráinzar in the state of Chiapas in southeast Mexico.The re-enactment of the Passion of Christ among the Maya Tzotzil, and Tzeltal indigenous communities began with a procession led by traditional religious authorities. They were accompanied by church officials, a steward, catechists, a priest, soldiers, the twelve apostles, and municipal authorities. (Camera: MITZI FUENTES).
