San Andrés Larráinzar, Apr 7 (EFE).- On Good Friday, hundreds of Tzotzil indigenous people took part in the traditional Via Crucis in the municipality of San Andrés Larráinzar in the state of Chiapas in southeast Mexico.

The re-enactment of the Passion of Christ among the Maya Tzotzil, and Tzeltal indigenous communities began with a procession led by traditional religious authorities. They were accompanied by church officials, a steward, catechists, a priest, soldiers, the twelve apostles, and municipal authorities. (Camera: MITZI FUENTES).
