Martinelli regarding his possible political disqualification in Panama: "History will absolve me"

Panama City, March 4 (EFE).- Former Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli (2009-2014), in asylum in the Nicaraguan embassy, paraphrased this Monday the Cuban leader Fidel Castro repeating his emblematic "History will absolve me", after learning that the Electoral Tribunal is analyzing his possible disqualification to the elections after receiving a copy of the sentence that condemns him to more than 10 years in prison for money laundering.
