Major Frans Hals retrospective to open in Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Feb 15 (EFE).- (Camera: Imane Rachidi) Frans Hals was one of the most famous Dutch painters of the 17th century. His artworks will be on display from Friday in a major exhibition at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

Observed through the eyes of the 21st century, each portrait created by Frans Hals (1582-1666) resembles a perfect snapshot taken with a high-quality digital camera.
