Madrid pays tribute to Yolanda González, murdered by far-right terrorism in 1980

Madrid, Feb 4 (EFE).- Citizen groups from the Madrid neighborhood of Aluche paid tribute Saturday to the 19-year-old Yolanda González who was assassinated by far-right terrorist group on Feb. 1, 1980.

A native of Bilbao, student leader and militant of the Socialist Workers Party, the young woman was kidnapped from the home she lived on Tembleque street in Madrid, before being tortured and finally executed on a path next to the highway. (Camera: EFE).
