Madrid City Council activates yellow alert in El Retiro park due to heat wave

Madrid, July 25 (EFE).- The intense heat of recent days is gradually beginning to subside, although six communities are still on orange alert this Thursday due to temperatures that will rise to 39-41 degrees, according to Aemet on its website.

In the city of Madrid it is expected that 39 degrees will be reached. Due to the high temperatures, the city council has activated the yellow alert in El Retiro park.
