Long queues for subsidized goods in Dhaka amid new restrictions to battle Omicron

Dhaka, Jan 18 (EFE/EPA).- People in Dhaka lined up Tuesday to buy subsidized essential products from the truck sales after The government announced new coronavirus guidelines and restrictions effective from Jan. 13 to battle the spread of Omicron variant.

Bangladesh has recorded more than 1.6 million COVID-19 cases and 28,154 deaths since the beginning of pandemic. (Camera: MONIRUL ALAM).
