Locals restore traditional "picayos de Viérnoles" costumes in Spain's Cantabria

Santander, Spain, Apr 4 (EFE) - (Camera: Javier Paradelo) - The "picayos de Viérnoles", the traditional dance with which locals honour their patron saint, has been a factor in the identity of the people of this village in Torrelavega, Cantabria (northern Spain).

The costumes used for the last decades are being "reconditioned" through a free course promoted by the neighbourhood council.
