Panama City, Sep 28 (EFE).- Labor unions in Panama protested Tuesday outside the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor and Professional Development (Mitradel) to demand the review of the minimum wage every two years and to ask for the increase of the salary since " the cost of living in the country has increased".

"We demand the appointment of the minimum wage commission to discuss what the next two years will be like, as established by our Constitution and Labor Code," the general secretary of the National Confederation of United Independent Unions (Conusi), Genaro López, told EFE. (Camera: CARLOS LEMOS).
