King Philippe of Belgium takes part in "Great Debate" in Ghent | Video

Ghent (Belgium), Apr 25 (EFE/EPA) - King Philippe of Belgium on Thursday took part in the "Great Debate" of "Ghent, European Youth Capital 2024" in Ghent, Belgium, where young leaders confront politicians.

In this crucial event, 750 Ghent students, after months of intensive preparation, put six crucial issues on the table, with the aim of developing their critical thinking skills and gaining the confidence to express their views on their future and that of society.

The day culminates in a major debate in which student representatives confront political leaders. In a meeting with the future generation, the King sits down with ten young debaters to discuss their hopes and dreams.
