Killing the "Bujots", Easter Sunday tradition in Ciutadella, Menorca

Menorca (Spain), Mar 31 (EFE) (Camera: David Arquimbau).- Ciutadella, in Menorca, celebrated today, like every Easter Sunday, the tradition of killing the 'bujots', life-size rag dolls, hung on public roads and later burned.

The 'bujots' also serve as satire and popular criticism of relevant events or figures of the last year such as, on this occasion, the case of the Koldo case masks, the price of milk or the drought.
