At least 23 killed as tornado sweeps through Mississippi

Amory, Mar 25 (EFE/EPA).- At least 23 people were killed and dozens injured by powerful storms and a tornado that rolled through areas of Mississippi, the state governor said Saturday.

The storms left a trail of destruction in their path through rural areas of the southern state, causing blackouts and extensive damage to infrastructure on Friday, US media reported. (Camera: THOMAS GRANING).
