At least two killed in first Israeli bombing of Hezbollah stronghold in eastern Lebanon

Bekaa Valley (Lebanon), Feb 26 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Wale Hamzeh) At least two people were killed on Monday in an Israeli bombardment of the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, in the first attack on this important stronghold of the Shiite group Hezbollah since the start of hostilities more than four months ago, sources linked to the Lebanese group said.

A source close to Hezbollah confirmed to EFE that the bombing perpetrated by Israeli aircraft left at least two dead in the valley, without specifying whether they were casualties in the ranks of the armed movement or whether civilians could be among them.
