At least 43 killed in Dhaka restaurant fire

Dhaka, Mar 1 (EFE).- At least 43 people were killed and 22 injured in a fire at a restaurant in an upmarket area of the Bangladesh capital of Dhaka on Thursday night, authorities said.

Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen confirmed the death toll while briefing reporters at the burns unit of a hospital in the early hours of Friday. (Camera: HANDOUT).
