Kidnapped journalists released in Yemen after years in Houthi captivity

Sana'a, Apr 16 (EFE/EPA).- The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced on Sunday that the three-day prisoner exchange operations in Yemen concluded this Sunday with the release of a total of 869 individuals from the ranks of the internationally recognised government and Houthi rebels.

Thabet, Al Hariz Saleh, Akram Saleh, and Abduljalek Ahmed. These journalists were kidnapped by the Houthis in 2015 and were sentenced to death by a tribunal of the insurgents five years later. (Camera: HISHAM AL-HELALI).
