Juan Román Riquelme: "We know that the superclassic is the biggest in the world"

Ezeiza (Argentina), April 19 (EFE).- The president of Boca Juniors, former soccer player Juan Román Riquelme, expressed this Friday, in the run-up to the quarterfinal match of the Argentine League Cup against River Plate, his desire for the Superclásicos to be played again with both fans in the stadium.

STATEMENTS BY JUAN ROMÁN RIQUELME, PRESIDENT OF THE BOCA JUNIORS ATLÉTICO CLUB: We know that the superclassic is the biggest in the world because River's people and Boca's people always went to the stadium. It has not happened for many years. That means that we did something wrong. Let's hope that we all help so that we can have the classic again with both fans, at the Bombonera, at River's stadium and that we can enjoy it as I did when I was a soccer player. That is to say, on Sunday we hope it will be a party, that we have a great time, that we enjoy it a lot and that we get used to the fact that the super classic will be repeated very often.
