Juan Guaidó will seek formal communication mechanisms with Gustavo Petro

Caracas, Aug 12 (EFE), (Camera: Ivan Cardenas).- The Venezuelan opposition group led by Juan Guaidó will seek to establish "formal mechanisms of communication" with the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, and his government, with which "so far" he has had "some informal meetings", said this Friday the anti-Chavista, who assured that he cannot offer more details about these meetings.

"We are going to look for formal mechanisms of communication with the president, with the government of Gustavo Petro. I would have expected as a Venezuelan that President Petro would have started specifically here, for the attention to the most vulnerable, for the protection of a migrant refugee population fleeing from a dictatorship, fleeing from the violation of human rights, from hunger," Guaidó said at a press conference.
