John Lennon's lost guitar up for auction in New York

London (UK), May 5 (EFE) - Disappeared for more than half a century among moving boxes in an attic in rural England, John Lennon's iconic Framus Hootenanny twelve-string acoustic guitar from the historic 'Help' album is coming up for auction to break records.

The soul of the legendary British band in the 1960s, their golden age, it was used on the albums 'Help!' and 'Rubber Soul' (both 1965) by the hands of George Harrison and John Lennon.

"It's a historic guitar," Martin Nolan, expert and executive director of Julien's Auctions, the auction house in charge of finding a new owner for it on 29 May in New York, told EFE.
