Jill Biden accompanies relatives of Surfside victims in emotional ceremony | Video

Surfside (United States), Jun 24 (EFE), (Camera: Cristobal Herrera) The first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, accompanied this Friday family and friends of the 98 fatalities of the partial collapse of the building of apartments in Surfside (Florida), in an emotional ceremony that highlighted resilience and the need to live with "courage" each stage of life.

"We will spend the rest of our lives yearning for the faces that are gone forever, and when they left our world they took a light within us with them," said Jill Biden at the ceremony, held on the same grounds where until 24 June 2021 the 12-story building was erected.
