Jerusalem empties on Yom Kippur, holiest day in Judaism

Jerusalem, Oct 5 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Yonatan Sindel) Israel celebrates this Wednesday Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the holiest day of Judaism, in which the country reduces its activity to a minimum for 25 hours, from dusk yesterday until sunset today, and even stops television broadcasts and its airport is closed.
